Choose The Highest Good, Always.
Every hair on your head has been counted.
We’re spiritual beings on a human journey (At least, that’s been my experience).
Everything is ephemeral, temporary and fleeting.
The physical realm is but shadows and dust.
If you want to truly, and genuinely grow in consciousness as a spiritual being…
then choose the highest good that is presented to you.
Choose The Highest Good
In any given situation in life, no matter the context that surrounds it, you are always presented with a multitude of options and choices.
This entails a decision making process.
These options arise from different states of consciousness.
You can intuit this. You can sense it.
Upon deep introspection, you can feel from which level of consciousness an option arises.
You know deep down within yourself, if an action’s intention was a positive or negative intent.
You know.
You know whether it came from anger, or scorn… or a desire to see the other person suffer and feel pain…
You know, even when you have managed to fool everyone else around you that your intentions were pure… that they were in fact… motivated by a lower consciousness state.
It’s okay. It’s not “wrong.”
We don’t need to take a dualistic perception of it.
However, you are ultimately responsible for your decision, and for the intention behind an action.
I am simply here to share what has helped this one the most on my own journey:
👉 Choose The Highest Good. At All Times. No Matter What. No Exceptions.
What Is The Highest Good?
It is the option that you are presented with in your current level of consciousness that is the most loving, kind, and aligned with your spiritual being.
If you are unsure of what the highest good in a given situation is…
Let it go…
With some reflection, deep introspection, and prayer for Divine assistance to see the essence… it’ll appear…
The highest good is not necessarily the “nicest” option.
It could be cutting people off, or letting people go.
It could be firmly establishing your boundaries with unbreakable strength.
It could be living so genuinely that you offend other people.
Regardless of the specific form expression of the highest good for you… in yoru given situation…
Only you will know the absolute truth of it within yourself.
The spiritual fire and will to apply this principle of choosing the highest good will naturally arise in you… in Divine time.
Spiritual Principles & Characteristics/Qualities
Here are some spiritual attitudes, principles, characteristics and qualities that may assist you on your path of genuine spiritual growth.
Radical Self-Honesty
You will require ruthless and radical self-honesty.
Don’t bullshit yourself… ever.
Don’t be seduced by the mind’s rationalisations.
You can lie to yourself very very easily… (I speak from experience…I lied to myself for years… and actually believed it… and that’s okay its all part of the journey).
Let go of any judgement and harshness directed towards yourself… so that radical honesty can appear with no resistance.
Be radically honest to yourself about your intentions.
Devotion and Dedication
This is an inner spiritual decision, to wholly, and without fail, completely and utterly devote yourself to the service of the God of your understanding.
I do not differentiate between different belief systems… Source is source from within.
To devote and dedicate yourself to it, to the point where it supersedes everything else in your life.
God first. Always.
And actually mean it.
Not just type it on X… but to live it…
To embody it.
To become the prayer itself.
Humility
You know nothing.
To truly know something, you have to become it.
Otherwise its just mentation and theory held only in mind.
The perception inherently knows nothing.
The more you know, the more realise you don’t know.
Surrender and let go of pride at its very root.
Not fake modesty… oh look at how modest I am… look at me and how little pride I have…
Genuine deep humility that stems from inner knowingness that the mind can’t know anything inherently…
Willingness
Embrace willingness as an general attitude and energy in your life.
It is required to look deep within yourself, without guilt, and condemnation of self.
The willingness to confront what is uncomfortable, to let go of the old, and to look at fear and uncertainty.
The willingness to examine the identity ego/mind complex: the compilation of unexamined habits of perception.
Upon examination the willingness to let go deeply, and truly surrender.
And allow Divine revelation to unfold in your life.
Sincerity & Purity Of Spirit
Every hair on your head has been counted.
You can fool people, but you can’t fool consciousness.
Never prioritise the ego/mind gain that is proposed to you over your spiritual intent.
It will come up… just surrender it and let it go.
Maintain your spiritual direction and spiritual intention no matter what: to live for God, to devote completely to God, to be of service to the God of your understanding, and to choose the highest good, no exceptions. (Replace God with universe, higher intelligence, truth, source, higher power if you do so desire it).
That’s it for now.
I hope you garnered some value from this letter.
I dedicate this work in the service of God, Source, and The Truth.
Gloria In Excelsis Deo.
It would seem there is a calling to do this full time (write, and film).
Support allows this one to continue the work in an unforced, quiet, and steady manner.
Consider purchasing a book from the Let It Go Library:
Or if you prefer, feel free to buy me a coffee:
Please make sure it feels good for your intuition, and is aligned for your own life.
Thank you in advance, I really appreciate it.
Until next time,
Peace be with you,
I love you dearly my brothers and sisters,
Jo

Jo,
While watching the video, I found myself noticing how hard you are trying to speak from your own lived truth rather than repeating something you've heard elsewhere. There is a sincerity in that effort that comes through very clearly.
The ocean was beautiful as always, but this time the calmness of the water seemed to mirror the tone of your message. The gentle rhythm of the waves made it especially easy to sit with your words rather than simply listen to them.
I also noticed those moments when you smiled. Not a performance smile, but something quieter. It carried warmth, humility, and a kind of childlike trust that has not disappeared despite everything life teaches us to protect ourselves from. It gave the whole piece a sense of grounded humanity.
As for the essay itself, I kept thinking about how often people focus on whether an action appears right while avoiding the harder question of what intention gave birth to it. Over time, I have seen that many of our deepest regrets are not caused by mistakes, but by moments when we abandoned what we knew was true inside ourselves.
The highest good is rarely the most comfortable choice. Sometimes it looks like compassion. Sometimes it looks like a boundary. Sometimes it looks like walking away. The form changes, but inner honesty remains the same.
Thank you for sharing this reflection so openly. It felt less like advice and more like an invitation to return to that quiet place within where we already know.
